Ok Bees, I’ve read about them, and finally I had one.. my first wedding nightmare!!!!
It was just dark, no sun whatsoever and we were late so there was NO time for pictures. Then I found a patch of sun, weird, and the photographer would not go outside because it was muddy.
Then the dance floor was so small no one was on it. And I kept asking if everyone was having fun and no one would dance, and somehow I was drunk? and didnt realize no one was having a good time.
Then the bar closed at 8pm even though it was paid for through 10:30pm and the guests had ot buy their own drinks.
Then the cake was homemade, and when you cut it open it had a picture of cookie monster in it… what the hell?
I woke up so upset!!!! AHHHHHH

The Cookie Monster? Heh — I wonder what made you dream of that.
Well, I’m guessing the likelihood of all of that stuff happening is slim to nil, so you’re ok. No need to dwell on it.
You have interesting wedding nightmares, that’s for sure.

@JessSeny: The cookie monster cake part is hilarious! My nightmares always consisted of me in my pajamas with no makeup on, with guests showing up at my house in black tie attire, having nothing prepared & no clue that it was already my wedding day!
Get a couple of things checked off of your to-do list this weekend 🙂 Once you relax a little, they will subside! Funny thing is that several months ago, I was having wedding nightmares on a regular basis & with less than 3 weeks left, I’m actually really calm!!!

Hilarious! Love the cookie monster part!
I had my first one the other night.
It started with my Maid/Matron of Honor coming into town the day of the wedding and we hadn’t picked out flowers yet.
So we went vendor to vendor and she was saying ” don’t worry we’ll find something” and she literally couldn’t make up her mind. said she knew the “perfect place”. I remember in my dream looking over and seeing another bride outside her venue bent over , sweating -don’t really know what that meant.. but anyway, she said to leave it to her and to go home and get ready.
When I get home, my Fiance is sitting on the couch reading a magazine,a cting like there is nothing special going on that day.
Mind you, the bridal party wasn’t there either.
Is thatr a nightmare?
I started to freak out because nothing was done and no one was there . lol

Thanks for the support ladies! So funny to hear everyone’s nightmares and nice to know I am not going crazy…

We’re a year out and my Fiance has already had a wedding nightmare. Apparently we got married in a castle, his entire outfit was super shiny red satin, and everyone was lecturing him on how lucky he was to have me while I danced alone in a giant ballgown…we’re getting married in a park, red is not one of our colors, and I’m about as anti-poof as it gets.

As long as the picture of Cookie Monster was edible, I see no problem with your dream.

I have a year to go and have pretty much planned nothing because I’m lazy and can’t make decisions. The other night I had a dream that it was our wedding day and we went to the dollar store to buy decorations and got caught up doing a million little aggravating things and then later on I realized it was 6pm on a Saturday and we had no license, no officiant, and hadn’t invited anyone.
I guess this means I need to get the ball rolling!

Yep, I’ve been having them too:
I went for my first fitting, and the dress wouldn’t do up. Then the seamstress yelled at me in front of the whole store, calling me fat. Sooo awesome.
It was the week before the wedding, and I was calling all the vendors to double-check everything. Everyone I called said I had booked them for 2014, not 2013, so I had NOTHING.
