My wedding is in 4 weeks… I have had the same dream over and over, that I wake up on the morning of the wedding, and I have a mustache. Like a full, fluffy mustache. This entertains my fiancé endlessly.

I once had a dream that all of my exes were at my wedding, and I was being so nice and giving them all hugs and thanking them for coming…while wearing an ’80s ballgown kind of dress. when I woke up, I was somewhere between horrified and laughing at how crazy it all was!

In already married, bur I did have a few nightmares before the big day arrived. One I remember in particular, I showed up to my church (where I was getting married) for a regular Sunday seevice. Upon arrival, I find that they’ve staged my whole wedding EARLY. I’ll be getting married RIGHT NOW, in my JEANS. My (at the time) fiancé was away to college, so he wasn’t even there! Their solution: someone from the congregation would be holding a photograph of him at the front of the alter. On stage they had several ladies from the church holding really awful bouquets to stand in as bridesmaids, and I was ushered to the back of the church to have a veil put on (a veil with jeans ans a hoodie. Much bridal) and wait for the service to start. I was in a daze the whole time, just letting myself be prepped for this non wedding that for some reason they decided was just absolutely going to happen even though My selected date was months away. I woke up just before the aisle music started lol

gemabride:  I was as calm as they come about my wedding but even so I still had wedding nightmares.  It was so weird.  The weirdest one was when we got to the reception venue and they were having a basketball game (???) going on when we were supposed to have our reception.  They told us it would be done in 2 hours, but I went full-on bridezilla mode and stormed onto the court shouting: “I’M THE BRIDE!  THIS IS MY WEDDING!!  GET OUT SO I CAN HAVE MY RECEPTION!!!!”.  So weird.

gemabride:  Hahaha I didn’t even think of it that way! Maybe it’s my brain’s weird way of reassuring me that all’s right with my world.

I’ve had dreams that my mom cut my wedding dress in half (“altering it”). Also the diamond falling out. A dream about forgetting to hire a DJ and then right before the ceremony im on the phone begging someone to come play music so I can walk down the aisle.

Fun times, lol.

gemabride:  Haha I was just going to post that I had my first legit wedding nightmare last night! It was awful and felt so real. My wedding is a little more than two months away and lately everyone has been saying how busy I must be with planning and how stressed out I must feel. The thing is, I haven’t felt very stressed at all! It’s the people that keep assuming I should be stressed that are stressing me out. Like it makes me feel like I’m forgetting something important.

Anyway, here’s my nightmare:

We’re all set to get married on the beach in Puerto Rico when, for some reason, one of my best friends (who in reality already got married in August) decides she’s doing her wedding on the same day! She’s going to do hers in the afternoon and I can have mine afterwards. She decided this the morning of my wedding btw. What?! So I freak out and scramble (because we’re both standing up in each other’s weddings) to figure out how to be a bridesmaid and then a bride within the span of a few hours. Her wedding is beautiful and of course the reception goes long and cuts into my wedding time. So since most of the guests were the same for both (not true in real life), all her guests stay at her wedding and miss mine. Plus, she decides she’s not able to leave her reception at all to stand up in my wedding. So Fiance and I get married with like only 2-3 guests. Then during our reception my friend decides to finally show up but it’s just so her and her new husband can do a meet and greet with our guests and tell them all about their wedding, still fully in their wedding attire also. Then, randomly, one of our few guests tells me that 3 other people actually flew down to Puerto Rico to come to our wedding but were in a bar when the ceremony started and decided that was more fun than actually coming to our wedding.

Ugh, it was seriously a stressful and crazy dream!
