So last night I had yet another bad dream about my wedding. Everything went wrong and I mean everything. Wrong dress, wrong venue, no wedding party, bad food, bad music, no dancing, crying, no photographer should I go? I think you get it. I’m having these dreams almost every night, my anxiety levels are high because I am planning this wedding while Fiance has been in Ca the past year do to military assignments. I really want this wedding to knock his socks off and him to be proud of the job I did for him/us. My mother keeps telling me if I continue to be so nuerotic bad things will happen, and I’m beginning to believe it’s true. Someone please tell me how to relax! Woooh-saaaaa

RELAX!!! I have been having a lot of these nightmares myself! Its way to much stress with your FI in the same town, I can’t even think about it with him gone! Heres how I look at it, at the end of the night you are happily married! He will love whatever you plan and he will love whatever goes wrong. Have yourself a cocktail and laugh at that bad dream and tell it to kiss your @ss because your wedding is going to ROCK!! Chin up sister!

Wedding nightmares suck, but isn’t it a relief when you wake up and it WASN’T your wedding and you still have plenty of time?
Take some deep breaths. I am super concerned with Fiance being impressed with our wedding as well, but he just isn’t the type of guy who gets “impressed” with flower arrangements or decorations. However, he does love me a lot, and because I told him that I wanted him to love it, on our wedding day, he will make sure I KNOW he loves it, and all will be wonderful.
So, if you have faith that he will get the hint (some guys just won’t, nothing wrong with that), I’d make sure to tell him that you are working hard for both of you and you really want him to like it, since it is his wedding day too. Sometimes, people don’t realize how much you’ve emotionally invested in making something awesome, so they don’t respond accordingly, but it’s not their fault if they don’t know it means a lot to you!

I’ve had two wedding nightmares ever since we have been engaged. I had three proposal/ring nightmares before he proposed (the last one, coincidentally, happened to be the night before he proposed). I’ve noticed that for me, the nightmares happen when I should be working on things. They usually give me some motivation to get going on that stuff! 🙂
I am sorry that you are having them. I like what the PPs said, relax and keep the faith that your wedding will be amazing!

I had an awful one the other night! It was like I just suddenly I was at my wedding and realized I forgot EVERYTHING! And for some reason I was sitting in a blueberry bush in my dress trying to put some music on my iPod for the ceremony. Yikes!
It’s what’s on my mind a lot, so I guess it’s normall that I’m going to dream about it!

OH boy a blueberry bush in your wedding dress! The unconcious mind sure is a powerful thing.
