@vaitiare:  I am!! And we haven’t even started planning because we don’t have a date yet! I dreamt that we got married and once we got to the venue we found out the DJ didn’t show up, and that my mother in law was a spy lol!

@vaitiare:

I have had wedding nightmares too… and after complaining about them to my Fiance he started to have them! haha

In one dream my wedding dress was blue for some reason.. I took that as a sign to go buy my something blue ASAP. lol

and in the nightmare my Fiance had, he said in his dream our Future Sister-In-Law showed up at OUR wedding in HER wedding dress. LOL weird… we have been having alot of problems with her lately and thankfully she will not be attending our wedding haha

I didn’t have any, but my husband did!  The week before the wedding, he called and said that he had a dream that I was dumping him so that I could join a basketball team and date someone else.  The hilarious part is that I am NOT a sports person at all!  So, the morning of the wedding I sent him a basketball that said “I choose YOU!” written on it 🙂

@vaitiare:  Yep. i was having major issues deciding on my dress, and just before i paid my deposit, i had dreams that i ordered the wrong dress, that the shop asisstant was evil, and that i broke into another shop to try on dresses!

I’ve also dreamt that after sending out my invitations, i found out there was no information on them!!

my wedding is just over 7 months away, i’m worried that the nightmares will get worse the closer to the day we get!

I had a lot of the same nightmares, and some others even worse (immediately cheats on me, I slept through the ceremony ect). I think it’s just because it’s such a huge event and a lot of planning goes into it, it’s pretty normal to have nightmares I think. Mine were starting to creep me out, but they’ve stopped now thank god. My wedding is still ages away, I think I was freaking out that I needed to get a move on with the planning or everything would be a mess.

In my more horrible dreams, he always seemed to change into some kind of horrible monster straight after the wedding, he even killed his friends in one of my nightmares and all I could think was how I married a horrible person and I was ‘trapped’. All my nightmares have been so illogical, but they were scary.

I have been having nightmares EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. for over a week. They range from kinda funny/completely bizarre to all-out NIGHTMARES about everything going wrong! I ask my fiance, and he says he doesn’t have any dreams like that about the wedding… or any for that matter lol

I have had nightmares too.. Last night it was that I had not written thank you notes for the shower… completely totally forgot before the wedding, so I was writing thank you notes for the wedding and I had not sent the ones for the shower yet.

I started my own thread about this this morning and then saw the others.  Some of these terrible dreams are cracking me up so I’ll share again…

I had an awful dream that I forgot to send out invitations and no one came to the wedding except people I didn’t know.  Not even bridesmaids or groomsmen.  Just one lone flower girl (we are supposed to be having 2).  I also forgot to pick out a song to walk out to so they were just playing random country songs.  Like the kind you line dance to.  My brother(?) had decorated everything and it was so pretty but I wanted to wait a week to have the wedding since I forgot to do everything and he said I couldn’t because he had already decorated.  I woke up bawling!

Wedding nightmares are horrible. I’m sorry you have had them so frequently!

Even though I’m still a good year and a half out, I occasionally have wedding nightmares. Last night I had one about the linens being incorrect and there were no flowers at my reception. In my dream, I was crying because everyone had to see the table linens being changed out to the correct ones.

People keep telling me how much they loved wedding planning I find it stressfull and overwhelming. The timelines are confusing and I am going too fast but afraid to fall behind. I really wish the nightmares and waking up early morning would stop. Also whenever I wake up my heart is racing. Anyone else able to chill out? 11 months away from my wedding.

screamingdaisy :  my fiance is the same but I am shouldering the majority of planning. I am hoping enlisting bridesmaids to help will ease my stress

hogoboom2012 :  That’s absolutely adorable!

So far I only have had 2 that I can still remember. The first was that my DH and his best man left after the ceremony to have a snowball fight in the park (we’re having a winter wedding) and missed the whole reception.

The 2nd was after I booked my photographer I drempt that it was my wedding day and I booked the room, the officient, and the photographer (basically everything we’d done up until that point) and then just didn’t book anything else! I was running around trying to find someone to help me do my hair and play music. Since that dream I got into super wedding mode and have almost everything booked and have been sleeping like a baby.
