I’m just over 100 days out and I just had my second Wedding Nightmare last night. This one was pretty vivid – I dreamed that the day of the Wedding, our banquet hall had forgotted about our booked Wedding and there wasn’t enough food and because I didn’t follow-up with my DJ right before the wedding to “confirm” our date, my DJ never showed up, so a good portion of my dream was us and all our guests sitting in the reception hall with no music playing or anything and everyone just sitting staring at their empty plates, LOL.
On top of it, we weren’t sure if our marriage was actually legal, because we had our family friend as an officiant (which is true) and overall, it was literally a nightmare!
I’m even dramatic in my dreams!

In my last wedding nightmare, my dad had forgotten to get a suit, so he walked me down the aisle in a denim shirt and suspenders… and the church had turned into a Williams Sonoma, and the officiant made everyone sit through a cooking demonstration before we could start the ceremony, and our guests all got antsy and started leaving! Dreams are so weird, man.

I’ve totally had these too, and mine isn’t even til August. In the first one, NOTHING was done – caterer wasn’t there, we hadn’t decorated, we even forgot to write vows. Yikes. In the second one, I got really carried away celebrating and got totally shit-faced and had to go pass out. AAAGH!
@KatieBklyn: The cooking demonstration thing is hilarious!

I’ve had a few of those, every time I wake up I chuckle about it. Usually I’m forced to have the wedding at whatever point I’m at in preparations at the time. In my last dream I remember being sad that I took so long to do the garland and now it was too late! LOL. Also, for some reason my dress was different from the one I purchased, and I rememebr thinking I was sad I couldn’t wear my dress.
