Fiance told me he had a dream that I put on 50 kgs overnight and my wedding dress was one of those tiny string bikinis

Apparently he still married me anyay. God love that man.

My wedding isn’t until next year so the nightmares haven’t started yet. But we’re keeping it super small and that’ll only be probably ten guests. I’m afraid it’s going to look pitiful. My mom would love to invite everyone she knows so she hasn’t helped ease that fear.

I had a nightmare I forgot to have my nails done.

I have never had my nails done in my life.

I had a really vivid nightmare that my stepdad decided at the last minute that he didn’t want to walk down the aisle with me. He wouldn’t tell me why, he just kept stepping back and holding up his hand, like he was turning down a drink. After the ceremony I lost my husband in the grounds of the venue and spent hours looking for him, before suddenly realising my dress was on inside out.

In real life, my biggest worry for the day was that people wouldn’t turn up. We did have a few no-shows, but certainly not enough to make a difference to the day.

I’d been having nightmares about all of the logistical details falling apart and even dreamed that I forgot to go to my wedding because I was out running around and doing errands and then didn’t have my wedding gown with me and had to get married in a purple summer dress.

I had a nightmare the night before the wedding that I overslept.

I woke up to find that I had overslept and my hair stylist was down stairs, calling me so she could come up and get started!

Fortunately, she’s a friend and was very understanding.

We flew cross country to elope. So my nightmares revolved around forgetting my dress!

HarveySpecter :  Actually no, we checked our bag because for some reason it was way cheaper. It wasn’t a traditional wedding dress so I didn’t need to hang it or anything. I had been planning to put it right in my backpack to keep it safe with me but then my husband couldn’t have done the same with his suit because it wouldn’t have been able to go in a backpack, so I decided if it gets lost then we both just won’t have clothes lol!

My now husband had a nightmare that the catering staff were being weird and weren’t serving dessert individually but passing the plates down the table. When desserts got to his dad, his dad refused to pass them on for no reason and half the guests didn’t get a dessert because Father-In-Law has them all. This started an argument between Darling Husband and Father-In-Law and Darling Husband screamed “this is my day and you’re ruining it” and then stormed out of his own wedding!

its just so funny that this was his nightmare!

coffeebean87 :  I just had my wedding yesterday, I invited only 6 guests and we had a lovely time, not pitiful in the slightest!

I’m 9 months out and have had multiple dreams of forgetting to send out invites and no one showing up. Variations have included my fiance cycling round town on a kids bike hand delivering the day before, asking the venue to spend all the budget on drinks for the bridal party (the only guests there)and phoning everyone in my wedding gown.

I’ve also dreamt that I bought a purple underskirt for my dress because they didn’t have white and that I was several hours late because I was caught up running errands

I dreamed that I broke a (fake) nail and refused to get married because the day was obviously ruined by it.

That’s great to hear! How did you have your guests seated for the ceremony? That’s my big concern. We’re getting married at a gazebo and I don’t know how to seat people without it looking weird.
