So you don’t have a rain plan? You really need one! No one is going to want to stick around if they’re doing so in the rain.  Does your venue have any covered areas you could use, or could you maybe rent at least a small tent?

I really wouldn’t worry too much about it. I’ve seen gorgeous photos of rainy weddings, and it’s supposed to be good luck. As long as your guests have a dry place to sit, mingle and eat, they won’t care one way or the other. Just make sure that your hairstyle will stand up to the humidity, and discuss alternatives with your hairdresser if it looks like that’s going to be a “no”.

My wedding is in two weeks and I decided that if it rains, I’m ordering rain boots & umbrellas in our wedding colors for some cute photos. The forecast can definitely change from now until Sunday, but maybe find some cute rain boots/umbrellas online & order with 2 day shipping. I’ve seen GORGEOUS photos during a rainy wedding, so don’t lose hope 🙂
