- Wedding: July 2012
I pretty much have my caterer picked out and they happen to offer inclusive wedding packages that include everything but the music and liquor. Now I’m torn. I really want to use the package, because based on 100 people, the wedding packages through them would be about $2500 extra (for limo, invites, cake, photos, food, headwaitress, flowers). I am pretty much fine with standard flowers, invitations and have heard good things about the cake. However, I am concerned about the photographer. It’s pretty basic, which isn’t my concern. I just cannot find any information on it on the Internet. I found one negative review from three years ago and on BBB it lists one complaint also in the past three years, but nothing else. I don’t want to go with them and be disappointed. But on the other hand, we can’t really afford to spend too much money on anything as we are trying to keep our budget within $10000 total.
Should I just ask for some references and take the risk on the photographer? Or should I try to book my own vendors and hope that I could get invitations, flowers, cake and photos all for $2500 or so? We’re not really interested in the limo so we were going to do a substitution on that anyways.
