I bought them reusable tote bags, jewelry rolls, necklace, earrings and luggage tags.  I hope they like them!

@happy924:Where’d you get your stationary?  I got some from my SIL for her wedding 8 years ago and I still use it.  But I can’t ask her where she got it because she would be a recipient!

I’m treating my 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man (all SILs) to mani/pedis and massage on Fri before the wedding.  I just wanted to give a little something extra along with a hand written note.  I think I will also treat my mom (and potentially Mother-In-Law if she wants) to the mani/pedi but not massage.  It’ll be a fun Fri morning event.  We’re all in our 30s, are established in our careers/lives and don’t need any trinket-y things, so some quality time, some pampering, something useful, and some love written on a card is what I’m doing.

I made reusable tote bags and each bag will include:

  • a pair of flip flops for later in the night that I “prettied up” for them
  • a white short-sleeve hoodie for getting ready. I wanted them to be able to wear them again so I only put their initials on them
  • personlized hangers that I made
  • earrings and necklace set to wear the day of
  • victoria’s secret lotion

Each gift was made by me, excpet for the lotion and jewelry.

I just bought my girls the shoes that they are wearing for my wedding, their hair on the day-of (which I did not make mandatory, they all decided they wanted it so I am paying as part of their gift), I bought them each a short sleeve zip-up hoodie that will say “Maid of Honor” or “Bridesmaid” on the back for our getting ready pictures, and I am taking them to our fave cafe for brunch the weekend before the wedding. It doesn’t sound like much, but it will end up being about $120/girl and I know they’ll appreciate it.

So far, I have coach wristlets, flipflops, and personalized hangers. I am going to fill up the wristlet with lipgloss, mirror, hand lotion, etc. I’m also going to write them each a personal letter.

Do you girls think this is enough?

@MsPensFan: COACH! Lucky Girls!!

So far I have purchased custom bracelets and earrings from Etsy for them. I painted small wood jewelry boxes . I plan to make a survival basket.. where I will include Aspirin, tums, breath mints.. tissue.. all that stuff one might need to survive the day..  and now that I keep seeing the hangers I might do personalized hangers for them?!

mini Nars lip gloss (about $6 on ebay)

mini Vera wang perfumes (about $9 on ebay)

This is more than I initially meant to spend, but my maids put on such an amazing shower, and they are travelling for my wedding at significant expense so I really want to spoil them! I’m also taking care of makeup for all five.

@longdistanceco_ca: I agree with the no trinkets, they’ll just get shoved away in some corner.

I decided to do some pampering as well. I’m paying for their make up the day of and a couple days before we are all going for pedicures on me. I also plan to get them all a nice card with a little letter from me.

I bought my Maid/Matron of Honor a necklace for the wedding and since she & I like to travel together, I got her a jewelry roll that matches her luggage.

I got my girls

-Personalized Hangers (I made them so they were inexpensive to do)

-wine glasses in our wedding colors for the morning of (it’s 5:00 somewhere ,right???)

-Tiffany’s necklace (I kind of splurged here, but I really wanted to thank and spoil my girls who have gone above and beyond these past few months.)
