I paid for their mani/pedis the day before the wedding, and also made a contribution towards hair and make up for the girls on a budget (sort of a pay what you can situation, pick your battles is what I learned, LOL!). They also got one of the individualized wire hangers from Lila Frances on Etsy which they loved! And they got a different clutch each from Etsy which I made sure would look nice with other outfits, not just their dresses, and then I filled the clutches with “day of” kind of stuff like Kiehls hand lotion & lip balm (got it at Holts), bobby pins, tylenol (for the hang overs, LOL!), etc. I had thought about getting them each a little perfume, but the only thing I could find were $35 mini-bottles at Sephora which was hard to justify with 6 BMs and perfume being very subjective, so I skipped it. I also wrote them all each a card about how much I loved them and our friendship, and I put in a $5 giftcard to Starbucks so they could start the wedding day off right and grab a coffee along the way to where we were getting our hair and makeup done.

They were a bit spoiled, but they deserved it! You could try doing a local search on Etsy or look at stores like Blue Banana or Fresh Collective in Toronto which promote small local artisans 🙂

I think I got the 12″ hangers, but I can see on her page that she’s sold out right now. I got the 8″ hangers for the kids in our wedding. Everyone got their name in their hanger, and I got one each for Darling Husband and I with Mr LastName and Mrs Lastname.

@RingPup: Ya the 8″ ones are for kids clothes, they’re really small. I think there are some good DIY tutorials on here if you feel adventurous. The Lila Frances ones are really cute, don’t get me wrong, but they’re not really made of strong enough wire to support much weight. I thought she was also selling just the name in wire as a kind of insert you could add to a wooden hanger, but I could be wrong… I think that was a new thing. It sounds like she’s catching up on orders, so maybe she’ll relist those in a couple of weeks. If you really want HER stuff though, send her a convo and she’ll likely do a custom listing for you with a bulk rate if you’re ordering a whole bunch. She’s really sweet and she appreciates the advance notice 🙂

@babybluz: Ooh I got one for Darling Husband for fathers day last  year. He still hasn’t used it but he loved it. He keeps forgetting that he owns it, LOL! Where are you having them made?
