I am not for sure if I want to have a Wedding Party.
My Fiance has 4 Groomsmen picked out. However, he stated that we did not have to have one, he did not care. At first he thought we were suppose to have one but after thinking about it. All they do it sit up there and look pretty even the men. 😉
I had two girls in mind. 1 saying she would do it but I never offically asked her and the second one is my Fiance’s Best Man’s Wife I never mentioned anything too. As of right now they are really my only two friends. Married Girl has another Wedding to go to but I bet she would do it if I asked her too.
However, I kind of want the spotlight on us at alter and I thought maybe this would be good.
Since he has chosen 4 men. We will keep his Best Man to hold the ring. I will keep girl 1 (not the married 1) to hold his ring. So our parents, grandparents, etc will walk down the aisle followed by the flower girls/ring boy. Then Bride/Father. Our chapel has two double doors, 2 of the groomsmen can be ushers and open the doors for my entrance and again for the exit when we walk back down the aisle. Then when it is time for the rings the girl and bestman could hand the Pastor the Ring or to me whoever then sit back down. That way a Maid/Matron of Honor and B.man are acknowledge instead I call them Attendant in the Program. Then the other Groomsmen can be used as an usher in the Parking Lot b/c we are suppose to do that. That way all of his guys are acknowledge. I was thinking that maybe the married girl could hold my bouquet and when I start to walk down the aisle hand it back to me? I can not afford dresses, bouquets b/c I lost my job and neither can they considering they just gotmarried and the next weddingis soon after.
After reading that it looks like I am trying to have a Wedding Party without having one…I am embarassed to ask the two girls even though they are my friends b/c they were my Fiance friends first…
