Personally, I think this is totally different to a college sweatshirt. I can’t imagine anyone wearing a tshirt with someone else’s wedding info on it.  It seems like a lot of waste just for one photo opportunity.  I also think a GM’s fiancee could have felt obligated to give a standard ‘omg that’s a great idea’ response.

I like sweatergal’s ide aof putting the GPS coordinates of the wedding on the shirt. My SO was in a wedding last year and they gave the wedding party personalized thermoses (like Camelbaks) that had the bride and groom’s name and wedding date stickered on the side and the name of the bridesmaid/groomsman whose thermos it was. I think they look pretty cool and my SO uses his all the time.

Yeah, agree with most PPs in that I don’t care for this idea at all. I love the type tshirts you’re talking about & wear them a pretty good lot (I love long sleeved tshirts) but definitely wouldn’t wear a wedding one out in public. Lounging around the house yes but that’s it.

For my friend’s bach weekendat the beach she got us all tank tops, they were all the same color but they were monogramed. I have worn this shirt since then. If you feel the need to do personalized then do monograms or something. Don’t make the shirt just about your wedding.

I made all our wedding party t-shirts for our stag and doe however I made them shirts that some of them do wear again (They all said One Night in Vegas which was our theme).

I think shirts are a great idea if they can wear them again. Maybe with their names instead of yours? Like personalized shirts?

I have never kept any of the “gifts” that I have ever received with someone else’s names or their special event dates on them. That includes weddings, bridal shower, baby showers…
