I definitely wouldn’t squeeze the group photos into the half hour slot. Use that for couple shots then move location for more couple shots and group shots. Run it by your photographer since they work well with helping create timelines.

Are you able to take any of these groups prior to the ceremony?  Like…Bride and her parents….Groom and his parents…etc?  If so…I would do prior whatever you can.  Then do your couple shots during that half hour window….and then the remaining group shots after.

soon2bamarriedlady:  As a wedding photographer I never ever every suggest letting family go after the ceremony and having them meet you later. In my experience you’ll never get everyone together in a timely fashion and you’ll eat up a lot of time waiting to find people. Oops…grandma went to the bathroom. Darn….brother is off finding a drink. I guess if you’re staying on the grounds technically you could have them wait but do you really want to feel rushed through your bride/groom portraits? Can you not book an extra 30 minutes or hour onto the gardens?
