@frommisstomrs.:  This exactly. I think you just put my feelings into words better than I did.

Honestly, I don’t think I’d think twice about it (if I received one).  I’d think: ah, they are still in newlywed bliss and are sharing their happiness with everyone.

    GO FOR IT!

I wouldn’t say it’s inappropiate. But I would prefer to see a different photo of your life after marriage.

I love getting photos of family and friends, BUT I draw the line at Christmas cards….it’s christmas! You show me Santa’s fat jolly ass sitting next to fire place with the Mrs. and a few elves or be ready to receive the lowest of the low from me this holiday season!

    THE FRUITCAKE!

    Newlyweds…you have been warned.

@nickels:  I guess we do really see things differently.  In my opinion, it isn’t more narcissistic than a lot of things that go on with a wedding.  If they are willing to put up with all of that, I would never have dreamed that a holiday card would have been looked on as such.

I’d be fine with it. I don’t see how it’s any different than any other kind of photo Christmas card, which are really common. 🙂

@frommisstomrs.:  *shrugs* I like getting Christmas cards with pictures of my family and friends on them. They are much nicer to look at then just generic xmas cards if you ask me. I don’t see it as showing off, I like my family and friends and like pictures of them. To each their own I guess.

haha I love how ppl are so selective with the belief of “you get 1 day” :-p I guess there’s a christmas card exception?

@Bichon Frise:  I agree with this. Personally, I would like to get a wedding Christmas card from a friend. IF it were a non-kissing, NEW picture that I had not seen before. With Facebook and thank you pictures this is a little unlikely. Ultimately IMO I think it would be better to use epics or some other pictures to avoid “dwelling” by reusing pics.
