I got married on April 9, 2011!! I absolutely love my wedding pictures and thought about doing a photo Christmas card with some of our wedding pictures. I just thought it would be nice to send to friends and family who didn’t get to make it to the wedding. Has it been to long since my wedding to have my pictures on our Christmas cards? I know my great aunts and girl friends love getting photo cards to keep and put up. What do you all think I should do??

I LOVE getting picture Christmas cards!! I hope I have a picture quick enough to do this.
I think it’s perfect as long as you didn’t do picture thank you cards.

I love the idea. 🙂 I love photos in/on annual christmas cards. It’s so nice to see people happy and looking well!

I think if you used wedding photos for the thank yous (like we did) it might be overkill, but if not I think its a cute idea.
I was feeling industrious last night and ordered our Christmas cards but I used a honeymoon pic.

Thanks ladies! I didn’t do picture Thank You cards so I think I will definitely send a Christmas photo card with an assortment of wedding and honeymoon pictures!!

There was a long thread about this last holiday season too. I think its kind of weird unless your wedding happened in the couple of months leading up to Christmas. To me it almost seems like overkill on the wedding. I kind of roll my eyes like “yeah, we get it, you got married… months ago!”. But I’m kind of judgy so others may love them : )

We’re doing photo thank yous, so I think that we won’t for Christmas cards.

I think it’s a fine idea so long as it’s a picture of both you and your husband together. I received one last year that showed a gorgeous picture of the bride, but the groom’s head was out of focus and partially cropped off. It felt more like a “look how pretty I am” photo than a “here’s a beautiful photo of the two of us from our wedding” photo.
