A wedding planner is responsible for logistics eg. contacting vendors, negotiating contracts, creating your day of timeline etc…

A designer takes care of aesthetics like flowers, lighting, draping, linens etc…

We had both a planner and event designer.  I had a specific vision in mind and having people there to execute it and bring everything together was a huge load off my back.

I was able to relax and enjoy the day without having to worry about anything.

A designer takes your vision and makes it come to life. I think you only need a designer.

I am blessed to know two wedding directors who are family friends of my Fiance. Mrs. P and Ms. R actually contacted the vendors and helped make my vision come to life. I did a lot of things myself and she gave them to the decorators giving them advice on how i wanted things. I’m excited about my upcoming wedding. I cannot wait to see all the work and effort pay off.
