We were just starting to consider planning a fall wedding (we hadn’t booked anything), but now we have shifted and are just going to have a small backyard wedding with less than 10 ppl.

It’s a second wedding for both of us and while a big party seemed fun, we just want to get married and not have to stress about when all of this will be somewhat back to normal.

  • Wedding: October 2021

Nephew’s October 2020 destination wedding in Florida is going ahead as planned. So far his November reception in Ohio is still on as well. I’m thankful my own wedding is October 2021.

@mestiza90:  We are doing the same pretty much. We cancelled our big wedding set for October 18th, are going to elope now, and just have a small backyard wedding of 30 people at a later date, maybe March of 2021. We had no idea how we were going to pay for a fancy wedding for 100 guests and are very grateful for the silver lining of the pandemic, being now we can save thousands and save up for a down payment on a house while having only the most important people there with us.
