My brother and his fiancé are getting married soon and live on a small boat. Any great ideas for useful, space saving wedding gifts that will be meaningful? Help!

EmilyVann: A set of good kitchen knives can be used anywhere.
Geez, that’s hard. Living on a boat is just so specialized. My aunt and uncle live on a boat and I’m always too afraid to buy them things for the house because they have no room. Could you gift them date night things? A bottle of champagne, a DVD, giftcard to a fancy restaurant, giftcard to the movies, tickets to the theater or a concert?
I’d definitely get something that would fit inside a wedding card. Gift cards/certificates to places they would use, like their local marina, favorite restaurant?
EmilyVann: I’m gonna suggest a cash gift. Docking, gas and repairs on a boat can quickly add up. Or, a gift card for gas or maybe to a local marine supply store.
I’d just gift cash, but that’s no different than any other wedding that I attend. They probably don’t have room for “stuff” so a monetary gift is the way to go.
