i’d probably drop “greeting” “remark” and “closing” since greeting & closing are more like titles and… i don’t know what remark means.

@elliestan: Agree! They seem more like notes for the officiant to help them keep track of the ceremony than sections the guests will need explained. If you really want to keep “Remark” I would change it to “Remarks on Marriage”

Processional and Bride Processional reads a little strange to me. What about Bridal Party Processional and Bride’s Processional.

It may be nice to include the name of whomever is reading the Corinithians passage.

Also, Declaration of Marriage/Prounouncement seems redundant. I would just choose one.

Ditto on what previous posters said about dropping opening, closing, and remark. Everything else looks great!

@Asia_Leone: well it’s you’re program, i’m just saying that those seem more like titles to me. what does having the word “greeting” really tell the person looking at the program? opening prayer seems like enough, same with the others I mentioned. I would also include the readers’ names in the spot where you’ve been putting the artist. I’m having multiple prelude songs, so I’m not listing them but since you only have 1 song, why not? the formatting’s going to be wonky but i’d think something like this would work

Prelude………………………………………………………………………”You’re Beautiful” Kenny G

Processional………………………………………………………………”Sentimental” Kenny G

                                                                           “Canon in D” O’Neill Brothers

Opening Prayer

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7………………………………………………………………Betty Sue

Blessing of the Hands

Declaration of Intent

Exchange of Rings

Marriage Pronouncement

Recessional…………………………………………”Teenage Dream” Katy Perry

@Asia_Leone: ah, gotcha. if you want a reader, usually the officiant just says the prayer and “remark” and then would step back and the reader would come up and do the reading. no real need for an introduction or anything, there would be a natural break between the “remark” and the reading. but if the officiant is doing it all then yeah, i’d leave the reading format the same as the original
