$5000, just under budget as of now. Might be right on with last minute additions

What is one thing about your wedding that’ll surprise guests?

Hmmm. Most of our family have only church weddings and ballroom receptions. Ours is outdoors, all in one place, with lots of DIY. It will not be the traditional wedding that they are all used to.

Has the planning process been fun for you, or are you ready for it to be over?

It’s had it’s moments, lol. As it gets closer (29 days, whattttt??!) it’s gotten more fun because I get to see it all come together. Plus, the Fiance is getting super excited now that its close, so he’s more helpful- always a plus!

 For religious reasons, we do not dance at all.

 A quiet, cozy beach in WA for 4 days, then Monterey, CA for 3 days.

Ten: five BMs, five GMs.

I think “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat, but we aren’t sure yet. 

What dress did you or do you plan to purchase?
Venus/Pallas Athena AF086 (but it’s branded the private label of the bridal shop where I bought it): 
 

Where will you be or plan to be honeymooning?
Not sure yet. We might go on a cruise, but probably not until a few months after the wedding. Fiance will be starting school the week after the wedding, so we’ll probably take a cruise after fall semester/right before Christmas.

What is your budget for the wedding, are you going over or staying under?
I wanted to stay around $5k, but we’re going to end up around $10k with everything. It’ll be worth it, though, since our reception venue is AMAZING and it’ll be a lot less stress for us. We’re also getting monetary help that we didn’t expect. 

What is one thing about your wedding that’ll surprise guests?
S’mores bar! And hopefully all of my DIY projects.

Has the planning process been fun for you, or are you ready for it to be over?
Mostly fun, a little bit ready for it to be over. We’ve been engaged since February and most of the wedding is already planned, it just needs to be paid for. I could do without people pushing their opinions on us, though. Once is fine, but if I say no, it shouldn’t be brought up again.

 umm lets not talk about that, I hate white, and am having issues so taking a break from wedding dress shopping at the moment

 I want to go somewhere far and exotic like fiji,french polynesia, thailand, Fi wants to stay close to home in south america/caribbean

What is your budget for the wedding, are you going over or staying under?

 100,000. We are at about 70,000 with all of our big ticket things like caterer,venue,bar,photographer, but there’s a 50percent change we go over but I think my max for going over would be about 30,000. Which was what my Fi budgeted for anyways.

What is one thing about your wedding that’ll surprise guests?

 The location is awsome, the food we are having food traditional to our cultures there in addition to american food. We are getting shuttles and since we ordered four, the company is going to throw in free tours for our guest. Not sure if we can make it work so we will see.

I’ve had my moments but it hasn’t been that bad. I have a wedding planner and my Fi is involved so this isn’t all on my shoulders.

What is your main color & accent colors? Navy blue (bridesmaids dresses), green (shoes, hair flowers, accents), yellow (flowers), gray (tuxes/suits), white (dress)

What will be your first dance be to? Not sure yet.. possibly “I won’t give up” – Jason Mraz

What dress did you or do you plan to purchse? I’ll be trying some on in August.  At first I liked lace ones, but now I’m not sure.  Definitely more of a fit and flare/mermaid style.

Where will you be or plan to be honeymooning? Europe

What is your budget for the wedding, are you going over or staying under? My parents didn’t give me an exact number, but we’re estimating we’ll be around 25k plus honeymoon.
