In case you missed my previous posts
So next it was time to take a Gondola up to the mountain where we were having our reception. Of course, in my 15 months of planning, I always envisioned it being a beautiful sunny spring day. In reality, it was cold and POURING rain. At least we could wait under cover for the gondola!
^ My sister’s maid of honour duties were taken to the max! Everything was soaking wet, but she did an awesome job of taking care of my dress for me!
On the gondola and ready to go!
When we arrived at the top, the rain suddenly turned into snow. Yes, snow in May in Vancouver. CRAZY. I was SOOO happy, because snow >>>>>> rain! Good thing I brought some weather-appropriate boots!
Running back in for cover – my hair/makeup were starting to get wet!
Back inside in the warm, dry lodge
OK, the view isn’t so great at the moment, but at least it’s undercover! (Just wait until later in the evening when the sky cleared up!)
I think my bridal party was having a few doubts at this point! It was FREEZING out, so we grabbed a quick shot, and they ran back inside!
A random little girl that was WAAAY too excited about the whole wedding
