What percentage of guests left after dinner at your wedding? Also can you specify what time that was around?

I answered for a wedding not my own, but for a friends wedding this past weekend. The dancing commenced at 11:30 most guests left as “most” were family.
I wasn’t paying close attention, but most (if not all) people stayed at least for a little while. There were some older/sick people who didn’t stay for long, but we had a great band and the dance floor was full for a long time. Our dancing started before 7:30, so people shouldn’t have been tired.
dancing is the best part!
i honestly dont know if anyone left my wedding, but it didnt look like it – we had a packed dance floor.
No one left after dinner, since we purposely had dinner at about 7:30p. However, we did a wardrobe change and I would say a good 40% left during the 20 min wardrobe change.
However, the fact that we had our wedding on a Sunday, may have played into it.
@bobsoon2bewife9887: We had the wardrobe change at about 8:50p and came back in at 9:15p. It wasn’t that long but I would say that I noticed that the guest count dropped from probably 190 people to 125 people.
I was okay with it, most of the people who left were people who were obligatory invites from my parents and I didn’t know who the majority of them were.
@YS Queen: Did you do your first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss and garter removal before you changed? I’m trying to figure out a good timeframe to change at my reception. Our wedding is at 5pm and I plan to be starting reception by 7pm so hopefully guest will be eating by 7:30pm.
@nonchalant04: We didn’t do garter removal, but we did do everything else before we went to change. The only thing left that we did after we changed was to have a night snack.
Our reception officially started by 6:45p with dinner starting by 7:25p.
@YSQueen: Thanks for the info. I have been getting flack about changing into another dress but I want to be comfortable so I can get my party on bc me and my fiance love to dance, and I have some funky shoes that need to be seen…lol.
I would love to see a pic of your short dress if you dont mind. Im still searching ( I have my wedding gown).
Thanks
@nonchalant04: My reception dress was custom made, and probably not something that you would be looking for since it was a cultural wedding. You can check out my reception dress and some other pics on my recap: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/finally-my-urban-vintage-peacock-nigerian-wedding
