I have a few questions, me and my bf want to get married in october and we are having a small wedding, our wedding is going to be about 30 people (or less) including me and my bf and we dont have much money to go all out and have an over the top wedding so we want something simple but nice, we are getting married in a chapel but we are stuck on where to have our wedding reception and we dont know if we should rent a small hall thats suitable for 30 people or just have it at a restaurant in a banquet room, but I was wondering since were gonna have a small private wedding if it would be cheaper to rent a hall and cook a four course meal about 30 people and have wedding cake or just have our reception at a restaurant in a banquet room? my guess is that its pretty expensive to have a reception in a restaurant banquet room, and also if we did rent a hall would it be tacky to not hire a DJ and just bring a stereo with CDs to play music on? and also would it be tacky to not have alcohol? but have wine or champange instead along with pop and juice? and also is having food for 30 people catered to a hall expensive?
