I am talking to an organization about the POSSIBILTY (not gauranteed) of using their historic building (an old Church) as my wedding reception venue. It is beautiful!
(This was an art installation.)
Pros: GORGEOUS and I would be the first person to host a modern wedding reception there.
Cons: Not everyone can see the beauty in a partially dilapidated building; there is no running water (therefore no indoor plumbing), so I’d have to rent port-a-potties; not to mention the budget.
I’m worried about the added costs with renting tables, decorating the space, and sectioning it so it doesn’t feel so huge. I am working with a small budget.
Am I crazy?
