Alright so I have been struggling with my wedding day music for the past two months. Music is an extremely important part of the day for me as my family is very musical and I really feel it sets the mood of the day. I have finally figured out the rest of my ceremony music but I am stuck on the Recessional. It has to be something that can be changed into an acoustic version as our whole ceremony will be done with three guitars (my uncles will be playing for us) and My sister will be singing me down the aisle as well as singing while we sign. So can anyone share with me what they used as their recessional or any ideas you might have for me?? We are not doing a religious ceremony so pretty well anything can go. We want something that is upbeat but I am open to any suggestions you may have…Please bees, I am sooo stuck on this one 🙂

I always like “Fly Me To The Moon”. Most of your guests should recognize the acoustic version. Could your sister sing the recessional too? That would open up so many possibilities.
It could also depend on the style of the music you used for the processional and the interlude. More information please.

I really really really want our recessional song to be “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles. My FI’s cousin used it in his wedding and since then, I can’t get it out of my head when it comes to recessional songs lol. I just think it has such a happy feeling to it!
I also found this website that has recessional song suggestions on it: http://www.makeweddings.com/music-lists/ceremony-recessional.jsp’ defer=’defer
Hope this helps 🙂

I know this sounds insane. We recessed to “Just the Way you are” by Bruno Mars. FI’s pic claimed the song reminded him of me and he had tears in his eyes when he said he wanted it. Anywho…in trying to figure out how to make this work, I found and acoustic version of the song. We didn’t use it, but it was nice. A lot of our friends knew the song so they thought it was “cool”
