I’m also doing a red and gold wedding!  We are going to hang icicle lights behind the table skirts on the head table, the cake table, and the gift table.  That way you can see the lights but not the ugly cords.

We’re reusing all of the bridesmaid bouquets on the head table and my bouquet on the cake table.  We’re having small medium and large centerpieces on the other tables (cost savings over doing all the large ones – they are crazy expensive).  I’ll try to find pictures of what we’re doing for our large ones.  We gave our florist my inspiration pic and he’s going to make the same thing but with our flowers (red roses and white lilies).

We’re also hanging swags of tulle along the head table and gift table and having red and gold bows at the top points of the swags (my mom bought sooooo much clearance red and gold wired ribbon after Christmas!)

We’re putting gold ribbon on the cake (if we can find the kind of ribbon our baker said he needs) and the cake will be on a lighted pedestal with more hidden x-mas lights.

Hope this maybe gives you some ideas!  Good luck figuring everything out!

I had a black, red, gold and white wedding.  I found gold vintage inspired picture frames at Michael’s Craft store.  Didn’t use black vases because they were hard to find.  Used clear vases and put gold curly willow branches inside the vase.  Also, I used gold mercury candle holders from Luna Bazaar to add more gold to the tablescape!  If you can do real red flowers – go for it!  BUT if you can’t since your vase is so tall, your guests might not even notice they are fake! Good luck!  If you need anymore ideas:
