@FutureMrsAnders:  Well if you’re starting out, the lists at the store that they give you are pretty good.  I wouldn’t register for fine china if you’re registering for stuff to fill your house though… but thats my personal opinion.  Have fun!!!

One thing- make sure most of your picks are available in the store.

I noticed a lot of couples adding things that are only available online…and most people wait until the last minute to buy gifts.

I think you’ll be fine with the lists from the store… I hope you enjoyed yourselves!

Some things that you may want to add, if you don’t have them, are more pedestrian, but useful, like a vacuum cleaner and a good kitchen garbage can.  If you have to upgrade to a larger bed, make sure to ask for nice bedding!

Given that you need “everything” I would prioritize a bit, too, so you have some items you can add later, but maybe keep the list a tad shorter in the beginning.  ie – if you really do need bedding, put that on there for now and leave off the foreman grill or blender (unless, of course, you are a smoothie for breakfast and indoor griller for dinner every day!).

For sure a nice set of pans.  You guys may have some now, but a full set of great quality is something I’m so looking forward to.  Right now ours have food that stick and they are all mismatched.

Also, love the suggestion on a vacuum.

A few more ideas:  nice pillows (for sleeping), bedding, CROCKPOT (aka, lifesaver), and towels.  I feel like you can never have too many towels as they get gross somewhat quickly.

Good luck and have fun!!
