Does anyone know of a wedding registry where you can add items that the guests can purchase at the store of their choice?
For example — Fiance and I are registering for Fiesta Ware. One piece is $25 at Dillard’s and $50 at Kohl’s. However, Kohl’s often has great sales and is more accessible to many of our guests.
Is there any way to have a general registry that guests can get items from whatever store they choose?

I know Amazon will let you add items from other stores, but I don’t know of a universal registry. I’d be curious to see if there is one out there though.

I second amazon you could also try googling for a universal registry I found a site called myregistry.com that says add any item from any website and its free but there were tons of others this was the first I found. Good luck

I used myregistry.com. That was a bit ago now. Most people found it easy enough, though a few encountered software glitches that didn’t let them fully access or use the mark as purchased feature. It basically worked liked Pinterest when you were adding things and you could add comments, such as “this is available from XXX and XXX and XXX” stores.

You can do myregistry, but it links to one store/site in particular that you choose (not an overall brand). So in this way, you could use myregistry. You would just have to piece it out yourself. It’s really easy to use.

OOOOh! OOOOH! I can help Yay!
My Fiance and I put off our resistry because we didn’t know where to register… We didn’t want to have to0 may stores, nor did we want our house too look like the kithen aisle at Target…I also really wanted to register for some cool custom stuff on Etsy…
I just started using http://www.giftregistry360.com/ and I like it a lot so far!
You can actually go register at certain stores and it will sync your registries…
No bride should miss out on the awesome experience of going buckwild and BB&B with one of those sweet guns!
You can also add any item sold online!
So far we registered at BB&B and Target and added those to our giftregistry360 account. I’m also gonna stuff from ETSY! I am having my favorite Etsy sellers create custom listings for me so I can customise things with our colors and initials 🙂
I’m still playing with it now but I guess we just put a link to our registry on our wedding website but we will still have actual registries with stores for our older guests to use too 🙂
We are going to add Royal Carribean excursions too so we can do cool stuff on our honeymoon cruise!

I’m using RegistryLove (www.registrylove.com) and I love it! You can add any gift from any store (I added my Macy’s, Williams-Sonoma, Amazon, and Bed Bath Beyond registry along with honeymoon activities and a couple other gifts from random stores I love that don’t have their own registry system) it is super easy to use!!
I checked out all the other options before choosing RegistryLove because they are the only one that has a registry that actually looks good and has the easiest setup and is the least confusing for my guests – all of the other online registries redirect your guests to make purchases on other websites and they have to come back to check off that they purchased the gift, but with RegistryLove they never leave the website so it’s less work for everyone

We took advantage of the Amazon universal registry option. And for a couple of items, I put in the comments “Also available at Crate & Barrel”, for example, so a guests could decide if they wanted to purchase online or at a store.

we really loved depositagift.com you can create a registry of anything you want money towards and then people can contribute, like group gift style. we did our honeymoon and new furniture. it just made sense for us. we didn’t need a bunch of stuff and didn’t want to be stuck with any particular store. what i didn’t know before is that their customer service totally R.O.C.K.S. i’ve never been treated so well!
