If you’re speaking of being upset over things that did not go according to plan or turned out to be disappointing, I experienced it.  It took about nine months for me to begin to get over some things.  I’ve now been married for three-and-a-half years, and, although there are still some things that occasionally make me sad, it’s now a much less intense emotion than that which I initially experienced.

There are still a few pictures from my wedding day that aren’t as flattering as others. I didn’t lose weight for my wedding and wish I had. But I just focus on the fact that it was a wonderful late spring day, I was a glowing bride so excited to be marrying my now husband, and we were surrounded by people who love us no matter what. It’s hard, but it is what it is.
