Fiance and I have a budget for our wedding and are saving with it in mind. However, there are some thing that I’m not counting in that budget. For instance, my wedding dress isn’t included in the budget. I decided on my own how much I was willing to spend on my dress and saved up on my own for it. Similarly, the gift bags to ask my bridesmaids is also something I saved up for and decided on my own. I don’t include any gifts to the wedding party/parents/each other in our budget.
Is there anything that you don’t include in your budget for the wedding?

@HonoraryNerd: Maybe this is ridiculous but my flight to my wedding. It’s in my home state. I fly there a few times a year and I normally would at that time of year anyways, so I don’t see it as an extra wedding expense.
I’m not including gifts for each other in our budget either.
There have been a few decor pieces I just bought and forgot to add to the budget so I didn’t include them either. I figure it just comes out of my regular expenses. I suppose it’ll make a difference but not enough for me to care! Not worth getting all worked up because we are not precisely within budget!

@HonoraryNerd: I can’t think of anything. I’m detailing every purchase to the extreme because every penny saved helps me put more toward catering/venue, which is the biggest expense and concern I have. We definitely didn’t expect it would be that expensive when we started planning. I even included our e-rings in my spreadsheet.
I would say, everything that’s related to the honeymoon however, is not part of my wedding budget (including the passeport I’ll have to get).
