I mean, it looks fine.

But, I think it’s super weird to have pictures in there that didn’t happen day-of. Like, really weird. If it isn’t what really happened, I wouldn’t want it. But that’s just me.

Awesome! Reading through your post I thought you were going to ask the entire bridal party to get dresses up again for photos – which would be a bit much. But doing your guy is brilliant!!! They totally fit in and now you can sneakily add them in to the other wedding day pictures!

@crayfish:  This. Not to mention that the emotions in the new photos won’t be geniune because it’s no longer your wedding day.

@crayfish:  I can’t tell, but YOU can tell. why create fake pictures? it’s not like you went an dhad bridal photos taken, you tried to recreate a moment that has long passed. i don’t get it.

@mrscash:  I think it’s a good idea. If you want it, then why not? It means you can keep a visual of some part of your life. Not being on the day doesn’t make it less memorable. YOU know when it was taken and you will probably laugh about it in years to come anyway.

@mrscash:  I can tell 🙁 the tie tying one and vest button one have a much warmer unnatural white balance than the others. Some are too small to see on here really. I think if you really wanted these shots in the album I applaud you for finding a way to include them to make yourself happy. I agree that recreating real moments would have been weird but like you said, these are just details and if it doesn’t bother you that they weren’t taken that day then why not? 🙂

@mrscash:  I too am shocked by the responses on here. Darling Husband and I had retakes done a week after our wedding. Our reception hall has an entire side of windows that lead out into a beautiful gazeba and garden area. This is where we took photos  inbetween the ceremony and the reception. I am very shy person, and having all of my wedding guests (115 people) starring at us made me very nervous. So, one week after the wedding, Darling Husband and I got dressed up again and took some cute photos of us and some shots of just him or just me.

It made me so happy to get some of the shots that we missed the day of, due to just forgetting and being so busy. And I am so grateful to have the cute photos of us together. It was a chance for us to get all dressed up and just love on each other and it made us both happy.

Don’t listen to the other people on here, do what makes you happy!
