I was given my grandmothers beauitful wedding rings a long time ago. I let my FH know that he had those rings as an option when we were talking about getting married. He ended up giving me a ring that him and I looked at together. My grandmother recently passed away and I really want to wear the rings she passed down to me. Me and my grandmother were really close. I can’t decide if I should even bring it up to my FH. Has anyone ever been in this situation or have advice?

My Mother passed away two years ago and my Father gave me her wedding rings… we were very close… and I cherish and think of her daily… I won’t be wearing her rings on my left hand but I will be wearing them on my right… thats an option for you… that way you can keep her close to you and still have your choice ring to wear…

I also have a ring of my grandmother’s which I wear on my right hand. Is that an option?

Another option is putting your grandmother’s ring on a chain, and wear it as a necklace.

I wear my mom’s diamond ring as my engagement ring and my Fiance will buy me something for the wedding. My moms ring is over 100 years old and it’s sparkly. Why let it be sad and alone in the safe deposit box?
