His has ‘Better together’ , our initials, and our wedding date. Mine just has our initials and wedding date (stupid small band!)

What a great idea. My  husband wants to upgrade his band sometime. Maybe this is something we will consider. I’d love to see pics!

I engraved my husband’s with “Forever My Love and our wedding date”. The other option that was a heavy contendor was “Always & Forever” which is a reoccurring theme in our photo albums and what not.

Mine says [his initials] to [my pre-married initials] 7-24-10. His says [my pre-married initials] to [his initials] 7-24-10. No room for cute sayings in my tiny band, I think they had to use a microscope and a laser to get that much on there.

Great thread!!!  Ours are engraved with “my love” and our wedding date.  We’ve always called eachother “my love” when referring to one another or just in casual conversation.  It reminds me of the movie “Ghost” when Patrick Swayzee would say “Ditto” instead of “I love you”.  “My love” is kind’ve our thing … so hence the engraving!

I would like to do, “Today, Tomorrow, Always” in his … we haven’t even started looking at rings for him yet though.  I like the “Better Together” too!

Since it is our gift to each other, not to mention a vow, we are putting: “Love, __insert name__”

we just bought our rings and have started talking about what we want engraved. But the things we like are borderline cheesy.

So far we’ve come up with “my favorite” for his because i always tell him he is my favorite person or “you are the best thing”, which is the name of the song for our first dance

I’m wondering what happens if you have to get the rings sized down the road. Does it mess up the engraving?

“All my heart always” and then our wedding date on my FH’s ring.  Nothing on mine it’s so skinny it would be too hard to read.

When we were looking at rings a few weeks back the jeweler said she had a bride that had “non-refundable” engraved into her groom’s band.

Not something I would ever do but still thought it was pretty funny.

1 Cor. 13 🙂 Cuz whenever we fight, we go back to that chapter in the Bible.

We’re planning on, if it fits in our rings, an excerpt from the Song of Solomon: “This is my beloved and this is my friend.”

I just ordered his ring and I’m engraving “The best is yet to come” which is a line from one of his favorite songs! I can’t wait for him to see it!
