I got my e-ring done by a local jeweler that I loved….. and then we moved! Apparently to the middle of nowhere………. the closest “local” jeweler would be over an hour drive, and I wanted to stay away from the mall stores, so etsy was a no brainer.  Below are my e-ring (local jeweler in Rhode Island), and my wedding band (etsy store)

My ring is from Julia B Jewelry on Etsy. I have a morganite and I love it. It doesn’t get as dirty as I read about which makes me so happy. Julia was easy to work with and upfront about how long it would take to make and ship out. We go to a local jeweler to have it checked every so often.

Our wedding bands are from Etsy, by TheFlyingFoxArts. Penelope, the owner, is a fourth generation female goldsmith and could not be nicer! The materials are all ethically sourced.

We got our wedding bands on etsy, currently wearing it and I love it so much. Mine was so affordable (<$200 for the 14k rose gold 2mm wide ring and engraving) it’s so well made and they gave us the apparaisal. My husband gets comments from our married or soon to be married friends because of how modern and sleek his looks. I got mine from seababejewelry and he got his from ArmanteDesign. We also got a velvet ring box from etsy. Etsy has such awesome stuff.

Here’s a photo I took of all of them.

heatherallison :  Sure, my rings are from RareEarth; my husband’s band is from DeluxeBands I believe.

Yup, I searched online and looked in some stores for something to go with my e ring, and ended up buying my band from GNGJewel on Etsy.  My husband’s tungsten band was also purchased on Etsy.

My husband purchased my birthday/anniversary ring from GNG Jewel. I purchased the rose gold band from debblazer to make it a set! The rose gold fill band (twist) also came from Etsy–don’t remember the seller but they are very easy to find because many sellers have them.

mallorinicole :  what are windows in morganite? I’ve heard that before but didn’t know what it meant. I have heard that morganite is not ideal for everyday wear but it is so beautiful! And I love that moissanite ring! What is the seller?

ChaiSpice :  Actually it was a store called DiamondFineJewelry.  There were several similar ones we considered but went with them because we liked how the bead and eye aesthetic was continued around the whole band even thoug there’s only diamonds on the top.  Photo from their listing below.

aimerxoxo :  So from the top and some side angles of the morganite it just looks like a pretty, sparkly stone. But from other angles you can see through the stone to whatever is on the other side of it. So for my stone I can see almost the entire prong through the stone when I hit a certain angle. I didn’t notice it for a long long time, but especially when it gets dirty it’s very apparent to me and at those angles almost looks glassy and not as sparkly and beautiful as it does from other angles. I do love the ring and would consider a morganite again for a ring in the future, but would maybe go with a round stone instead of cushion(though I do love my cushion) to avoid windows, or a bezel set so seeing prongs isn’t an issue. It’s probably only something I’m more sensitive to seeing since I look at my ring all the time and have had it for 4.5 years now.

Silly me for forgetting to mention the shop of the moissy ring! It’s KaratJewelryGroup. Also, from what I can tell so far a great shop. I’ve messaged her a few times and gotten quick responses and a quick quote for the smaller stones I was wanting. DH ordered the ring sometime this week (had to pry it out of him because I’m annoying and wanted to know :)) So I’ll post pics when it gets here, but that may be a few weeks since it’s custom.

Studio 1040 made the setting for my pear diamond. I’ve also purchased several bands off Etsy.
