Hey bees!
I have a pretty unique e-ring that will be impossible to find a matching band for, unless I get one made. I’m open to the idea of the “gap” if it works. I definitely want to incorporate sapphires because they’re my favourite, but my e-ring is just diamonds. I have a few ideas at the moment and was wondering what you thought π
My e-ring alone for reference:

This pic is a dodgy-ass MS Paint job…the idea is to have a couple of thin stacking bands. I’m looking at https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/160833803/art-deco-milgrain-blue-sapphire-diamonds and https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/160834895/thin-design-september-birthstone

My attempt to try to simulate the idea above using rings I own (and a texta!)

This is a band at a local jeweller that I quite like π

love your unique e-ring. its gorgeous.
I’m OCD about certain things being matchy matchy so if it were me, i would get one custom made.
if custom wasn’t an option, I would definitely go with (cheapo) curved band. π i like those two the most.

I would see how much it would be to do a custom band. I wasn’t finding what I was looking for so we looked into a custom band. Best decision ever!!! It was the same price if not a little cheaper. This was you can have a band that goes with your ring. :).

@alsgirl: your ering has a bit of a twist to it. have you considered a diamon twist or infinity band the same width as your ering band? i would like to see something like this.

I love #4, but if you want something to match your ring, then maybe a custom ring would be better. Or, the rings that PP posted are really nice too and maybe that style (with diamonds and sapphire) would look good.

I like the three ring stack too. Both stacks look great! but I love stacks so I’m biased π

@alsgirl: I’ve already told you this but the thicker sapphire and diamond band is to die for!!!

@alsgirl: This is hard, because I really like all the choices you posted. I’ve come back to this thread several times already to look at the pictures … and have had a hard time making up my mind.
But (!!)
I think my favorite is the thicker band with blue sapphires and diamonds. It is such a pretty band and, although it doesn’t curve like your engagement ring, I think it compliments your ERing incredibly well. My second choice would be the curved sapphire band.
Your ERing is beautiful, by the way! I really love how delicate and graceful it is.

@alsgirl: I love the thicker sapphire and diamond band! It’s basically like a stack, but all in one ring. It stands out that it’s clearly a separate band, but I think it works well with your e-ring. Also, it will look FABULOUS on its own if you’re ever in the mood to wear just a band!

I think I would have a sapphire ring made. Some combos here look ok but I think you can do better to compliment your ering.

@alsgirl: I’d do a curved sapphire or sapphire/diamond pave band

OP here π
Looks like the thicker band that looks a bit like 3 in 1 is winning. I still like the other sapphire bands too…perhaps I shall get a RHR since mine got too damaged to wear everyday π
