You can do whatever you want, but generally people would only wear the engagement ring before the wedding. You’d just keep the wedding band safe and sound during the engagement. Then on the wedding day he would place the wedding band on your finger during the ceremony, and from then on you would wear both.

That’s why people have been confused – most folks would only wear both after they are married.

Traditonally you’d only wear the wedding band after the wedding – which is why people are assuming you’re married. If you want to wear both, wear both, but if it annoys you that people are asking it could be nice to save something special for the big day!

My cousin also wore both rings before the wedding because it came as a set.  I knew the situation so I never thought twice about it.  Do what makes you feel comfortable.

Do you have a picture?  I see your the bee that had the issue with the set possibly being “used”  I hope you were able to sort that all out.

Either way I’d wear just the one ring to avoid being asked questions.  Mine is a set too and it felt weird to just wear the one but I did since it looked okay solo.

maybe you might want to take it off when meeting vendors for your wedding, lol. they might be confused, like…aren’t you already married? haha… just a thought!

Unless just the engagement ring looks REALLY dumb alone, just wear one. (Being a set it should’t look dumb alone though.) 99% of people see the 2 rings as already being married, so it will confuse people. Also, it’s a time when you can really show off your engagement ring, and after you’re married you can really show off both of them as the look changes
