Ok Bees, I’ve struggled on my own with this for a few months and I’ve decided it’s time to turn to the professionals.
I cannot find wedding shoes. I am looking for red pumps that have a vintage flair. I’m really draw to peep toes with a bow or flower or some kind of fun accent. I have 2 problems: 1) my fiancee isn’t much taller than me and he doesn’t want me to tower over him on our wedding day, so my shoes can only have a 3″ max heel (but 2-2 3/4 would be better). The other problem is that I can’t really justify spending more than $75-100 since no one will really see my shoes anyway.
Does anyone have any ideas/sites I can visit? I’ve been to DSW, Amazon, Macy’s, Zappos, 6pm. Thanks!!

Have you tought about DIY? add the flair you want?

I have thought about getting a plain pump and adding shoe clips or something, but I’m worried about getting the reds to match. Red is a tough color anyway, and then trying to match up colors I see on a monitor sounds like a nightmare

American Dutchess has some cute shoes that have a wonderful vintage feel. They don’t start out red, but they sell die that you can use to turn them red.

@agrinste1: Try Shoes of Prey online. You can design your own – right down to the heel height and the extra flair you want. 🙂 Good luck!

Nine West has a lot of red pumps and they’re always reasonably priced. How about these– you could add bows or something to them, and they’re on sale for $49.99 (2.25″ heel):
