Heels! I am a heels kind of girl, though. I figure there will be enough sitting at the reception to make them wearable. Since my wedding is likely to be on the grass, I think I would be best with wedges to get the needed height, though I don’t usually wear them.

These are the only ones I have found that I have even considered so far:
Charles David Soleil

I really want pink shoes, though. I have more than enough time to pick something, though, and I should probably find a dress first haha.

Wedges might actually be a good compromise for someone debating heels v. flats. They have the height but more stability and tend to be more comfortable in my experience.

I have these two, don’t know which I’m going to wear yet… maybe both!

I had three pairs of shoes that I wore that day! First pair were ivory (matched dress) Stuart Weismann 2.5 inch peeptoe heels. I wore them up until about midway through the reception when my feet gave way. Then, I switched in to a .5 inch kitten heel gold leader peeptoe. I wore these for a while, until I was in an unbareable amount of pain, and then finally put on a pair of ivory Easy Spirit Peep Toe flats.

I’m not a huge fan of Easy Spirit, nor am I a huge fan of being overly wastful. However, I have a weird foot problem that I developed from running around in 3 inch heels every day for 5 years straight. So, I needed to compensate. Thankfully, this just meant get more shoes! hehe!

Just go with what matches your dress. I know a lot of girls wear colored shoes under their dress, but only do that if it actually goes with your whole “look.” I wanted to do the colored shoe thing, but it made me look like a hunky.

I love my shoes! They’re a 6.5cm heel so I might have to switch them out to flats at some point in the reception but I haven’t gotten my standby shoes yet….
