mrs24:  Those shoes are gorgeous, and no I don’t think they would be too distracting.

I love those shoes and I think they are stunning! Do you have a photo of your dress?

These are the shoes I plan on getting (similar style) if I can somehow get them shipped to Australia

I think coloured shoes are great!! Do you know what shoes you want the bridesmaids in??

Very cute!  Go for it! I think a pop of color would look awesome.  And honestly i think that white or  ivory shoes are overdone and it’s a pain in the butt to match/dye the color to the dress.  I’m going with a silver rhinestone studded pair for my ivory dress

I think quite a few Bees have had blue shoes as their “something blue”. I’m having yellow shoes as that’s my favourite colour. I stumbled across these beauties on Etsy and have asked the creator to put “meow” in the bat symbol a though catwoman has Grafittied them. Super excited!

Your dress looks as though they’d cover your shoes for the most part anyway!

I wore plum shoes like my girls, since that was one of my wedding colors. Wedding shoes were probably the least important thing to me, since most of the time they really aren’t seen and the fact that by the time the reception rolled around and we did our first dance I changed into flip flops.

I love those!  My colors are navy & white also and I was looking for something like that but I wanted wedges or flats since our wedding will also be outside and I didn’t want to be sinking into the grass.  That would be the only thing I’d be wary of with those shoes if I were you since you mentioned you’re getting married in a back yard.  But I think the color and style are perfectly fine if you feel like you’ll be comfortable wearing them in grass!

I love your shoes! My shoes are gold! I don’t think they need to be white or ivory. I really like you pop of color!

I’m all for blue shoes and the ones you’ve chosen look fantastic!

Mine are navy blue (as my “something blue”) and they’ll also match my wedding colors which are navy blue and burnt orange.

mrs24:  I love them!  I was at a wedding this year where the bride wore a white dress with blue corset laces and blue shoes.
