I wore wedges from LK Bennett and was super comfortable all night.

Some bridal shoes have extra padding in them. Nordstrom has a good selection easy returns. I would go with a height your comfortable in and can walk easily in your dress. I’m looking for flats or kitten heels. If your the type of person who can where 3.5 in heels all day go for it. Just make sure you break them in and your comfortable.

You just need the heels for the fitting with the seamstress, which will usually be 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding.

Do you normally wear heels or flat shoes? A giant stiletto with no strap and a peep toe will be more challenging to wear on the day than a mid heel wedge with a strap and no peep, but if you spend your days running around in heels you’ll cope better with options!

I’m wearing flats and I’m 100% good with this decision 😁

Juat wear something comfortable that you can walk in. I wore 2.5 inch block heels. The block made it really comfortable because it was wide and not a point to balance on. Wedges are pretty comfortable too. If you’re not used to heels, maybe get flats or 1-2 inches so you’re not on your toes too much.

The only reason you need shoes before a fitting is because the height of your shoes will dictate how much of a hem you need to get done.

These are mine! 3 inch heel (I couldn’t go higher or I’m be taller than my fiance lol) with an ankle strap to keep them secure when dancing and walking around. My bigger fear is tripping down the aisle but I think these will work for me. You just need to base it on your experience and what you think you’ll be comfortable in.

I’m wearing flat sandals. My boyfriend is exactly my height and I don’t want to tower over him in all the photos. Haha

My shoes are from Jimmy Choo and I adore them, I’ll be in pain the whole day but they’re so pretty it’ll be worth it!

I chose some gorgeous 1920s/Gatsby looking heels from Emmy London, but I’ve heard really good things about Anglea Nuran and have been thinking about getting a pair to change into for dancing.

I think it’s like anything else where your wedding is concerned. Wear what would make you feel beautiful and happy, just make sure you break them in first. I’m wearing Steve Madden shoes, because I have never had a pair that hurt my feet, with an ankle strap for stability, and they are 5 inches because that’s how I feel bravest.

I will be 2 inches taller than my husband on our wedding day. He will think I’m beautiful, I will feel beautiful. BUT that would make so many girls feel ugly.

What I’m getting at is, what shoes make you feel wicked cool? Would you suffer for them? Is comfort the most important thing? Do you want your tush to POP in that mermaid skirt? It’s 100% up to you. Don’t forget as you’re browsing these wedding boards and inspiration pages that our advice is yours but you don’t HAVE to take it. Do you. Do you so hard.

These are mine! Block heals then attached ‘shoe clips’ from etsy to make them more bridal 😁
