I’m still engaged, but purchased the most beautiful sparkly Jimmy Choo’s for my big day this summer. I also have some pretty gold sandals that I’ll change into after the ceremony for comfort 😂

These were mine. They were customized with 24K gold coated Swarovski crystals. I also had a pair of gold Gucci flats that I changed into for the reception.

I spent forever trying to find the right shoes. I eventually went with a pair I’d had for years but never worn. They’re crocs. 😂

These are mine:

I was wearing Louboutins the first time I met my partner (we were at a fancy charity ball) so I wanted to be wearing a pair when he sees me for this second “first time” if that makes sense.

This pair are neutral enough that I’ll be able to wear them again too.
I will probably buy a pair of nude ninewest ballet flats for photos and things though – we’re getting married in a vineyard and I don’t want to spoil the heels of my loubs in the grass/dirt.

If I hadn’t bought what I did for sentimental reasons I would have bought this pair of Bella Belle shoes:

@eponee:  that’s one of the things I like about them, haha! High vamps don’t look good on me, so I prefer shoes with lower ones.

I don’t typically wear heals, so I got a chunky kitten heel. Loved my shoes! Did well in the forest where I got married.

@floridagirlblue:  They were so perfect! I wanted teal shoes and finally realized I’d had the right shoes all along.

@thecoffeefiend:  you can get heel protectors that will keep you from ruining them and sinking. You’ll want them for photos so your dress doesn’t bunch.

I bought a pair of Sophia Webster Chiara heels for our wedding. It was perfect for our “garden wonderland” theme!

@zl27:  thanks. I am planning on getting these!

My dress has a huge skirt with a lot of tulle underneath so I think it’s going to bunch either way, but I do intend on trying everything on with my alterations lady and seeing how it all looks. If I don’t like it with the flats I’ll make a decision from there.
