I did a quick search on zappos.com (best shoe site ever!) for “dress flat sandals” and they have tons of options.  Here are a few:

I think you have more choices then we do with heels.  wow, I love the pretty 14.99 pair up above. They will go beautiful with your dress. I wanted colored shoes but my dress is tea length so I can’t:(

@tytbody I think you should rock the colored shoes even with a tea length dress! After all, it’s your day 🙂 This bride totally did it and looked amazing: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/im-married-pics-inside

@Miss Rock Candy, beautiful dress. I’d take a look at zappos.com to see if they have something you like. In addition, since shipping to and from is free, take advantage and have a bunch sent to your house!

oh bluestuff, you almost made me cry. That is so damn cool. I love it. She rocked the hell out of those shoes and she looks fabulously happy. I’ve never seen a City Hall wedding so cool. I just though it was plane and no feelings. Well, I felt like I was there with her/him. That was great. Man, I need to grow some balls and stand on what I want.  I’m scared though. Everyone else looks great in the color shoes..  What the heck am I gonna do.!!!!

on the Zappos 100% try them all. They place has carrier pigeons or something. They will be at your door it seems like as soon as you stop typing.  I oreded on a Monday Night, they were here on Tuesday morning. Sent them all back today, Thursday.. too yellow, too tight, too tall.

@tytbody I think I might have cried when I saw her photos! Also, her shoes are amazing. I knew I wanted to wear hot pink/fuchsia shoes right from the beginning, and she just rocks them! I think you should keep ordering a bunch of shoes online, and if you can try them all on with your dress, even better 🙂 Once you see how colored shoes look with your dress, you may end up convincing yourself afterall. And if you need to convince others, then you already have self-confidence 🙂

The reason why I mentioned Zappos is because when I went for my almost final dress fitting (wedding is in 10 days!) on Monday, the dress was still too long for the shoes I planned to wear, and hemming the bottom would ruin the design. I ordered 3 different styles in 2 sizes each on Tues. night, got them yesterday, picked a shoe, and now will be sending the other 5 pair back. Easy! I was astounded.

hummm big hummm  let me hop on over there again. You are right.  the dress is here also. Just picked it up today..  dang, why didn’t I think of that. I was thinking I’m done, just get ivory.  .. I wish I could have worn those shoes, they were smoking. She had such a cute hair style also. I loved the whole thing.

Plesae post pics when you get married.

I also loved how they both took pictures of themselves on their mutual iphones:) so bomb.. so bomb..

Hey Miss Rock Candy – I know you posted this a few weeks ago, but if you hadn’t found something you love yet, here are some flats I found that are more shoe and less sandal (but still quite cute!)

http://www.zappos.com/romantic-soles-geneva-white-napa-leather – closed toe, but still quite cute

http://www.zappos.com/dr-scholls-be-fun-white – open toe, these are my personal favorite of the ones I found

http://www.zappos.com/blowfish-seeing-white – open toe, but may be too casual if you’re having a formal wedding

http://www.zappos.com/seychelles-get-outta-town-white – more strapy, but may also be too casual if you’re having a formal wedding

Not sure if you’ve found anything yet, but I went with the “Cartier” flats from ALL BLACK, in purple. They also come in teal and silver:

Would your man really be upset if you were taller than him? My guy is only an inch taller than me (a very crucial inch I tell him) but I LIVE in high heels. I am typically a good two to three inches taller than him on a daily basis and our wedding day won’t be any different.

I had considered, like you, wearing flats or kitten heels but didn’t feel quite as sexy. I actually sat down and chatted with him about the height issue and he made it clear that it was about me and how I felt and that he didn’t care if a pair of shoes hoisted me up higher.

If you are craving some heels talk to you man and see if maybe he really isn’t as bothered by it as much as you think he is. You may be surprised. If he is then go with a sweet kitten heel (2 inches?).

My shoes (4 inch heels):
