I think that I unintentionally bought my wedding shoes today. Its tall, comfy, and cheap (on clearance for $11!). I just wonder if it’s weird that my shoes don’t match the wedding colors. My wedding colors are dark blue and yellow. My shoes are a pale green. I figure it would work out since my shoes will be covered by my gown and that blue and yellow makes green anyway.
What do you think? Have any of you worn shoes that don’t go with the rest of you color palette?

@happyseashell: no that’s not weird and matching my shoes to my colors never crossed my mind.

@happyseashell: Those are super cute!!! My shoes didn’t match the rest of my colors. I had pink shoes and our colors were pale blues with light neutrals. And the way my dress was cut, they were on full display.

I dont think it matters at all!!! I plan on getting shoes that are comfy first and foremost… you are the bride and you will be beautiful no matter what, no one will care or even notice.. once they see your smiling face and you in your gown they won’t even think twice about the shoes.. its just an added bonus that you got them for $11!!!! Congrats!!

I have blue shoes I’ll wear for my ceremony, then I’ll change into some flats (probably white). Out colours are pale green, light pink and grey.

If they’re not going to be seen and you think they’re comfortable, go for it. It’s really not my cup of tea to have shoes that are completely different from everything else going on, but I understand the appeal for others.
