Hi! so ive been searching for my wedding shoes for a while now, specifically ive been looking for a pair of wedges that i will cover is pink swarovski crystals. I recently found a pair that i really like, but the heel is already covered in clear crystals so i would cover the rest in the pink swarovskis. I did a little photoshop on them to see what they would look like, im just not sure that i like it. I think it could be that they just look weird photoshopped, but i would love some opinions.
so the question is, do you like this shoes covered in pink swarovskis AND the clear crystals details on the heel or should i just keep looking for another pair of wedges so that i can cover the whole shoe in crystals?

Your first pair looks good; or if you’re thinking of doing the second; I’d search for a completely different pair.

Thank you! i love the way they look originally thats probably why i wanted them to work with the pink crystals =) I will definitely keep looking for a pair of simpler shoes

I like them as is but if you are set on pink crystals then keep looking

The shoes as they are, are pretty awesome! I know you’re set on the pink— but if it’s doable- would you settle for dying them pink instead of adding pink crystals? I think that could look really pretty. Just a thought! Good luck either way!
edit: I played around with photoshop too.. although I’m not very good!

Like them as they are but I would go with a lighter pink on this shoe or get another pair and go all pink

I think it depends on your dress and venue. If it is classic and church based i would keep looking.

Just an FYI if you are going to strass (I am learning this as I strass my shoes) get something fabric(suede/satin/velvet).. Also, acrylic sparkles REALLY pretty (I’m thinknig the glass crystals I ordered will too).. Swarvoski is VERY expensive.. I did a breakdown this morning of the crystals I will be using/would have used:
for 21,600 of the glass crystals I paid $170.40 for 22,000 acrylic (they only sell them in 1,000 piece groups) it would have been $72.74..For the same number of Swarovski (as glass) you would pay $578.07 (including shipping from fire mountain), using 2, 3, and 4mm stones…

ETA: Another FYI, make sure you break the shoes in prior to strassing, they will not stretch afterwards

thank you so much for all that information! i think i will be considering glass rhinestones, i already have some and they really do sparkly beautifully as much as swarovski actually =)
