I’ve been looking at making my own on ShoesofPrey.com (I’ve read amaazing reviews). So far, I’ve designed 10+ potential pairs, but haven’t ordered any yet!

Generally I am not a fan of the look of wedges, but I was striking out in my search for good wedding flats and worrying about about looking very short if all my taller-than-myself ‘maids were also going to be donning heels.  I totally lucked out, because J. Crew has added some of their Lillian low heel wedges to their sale section, with an extra 40% code.  As long as they fit, my shoe search should be over!

Originally $198, got them for $70.99 with shipping.

Link to the Lillian sale styles here; the extra 40% off sale styles is good through Oct. 9th at midnight: https://www.jcrew.com/search2/index.jsp?N=21+17+10047+12691&Nloc=en&Ntrm=&Npge=1&Nrpp=48&Nsrt=3&hasSplitResults=false' defer='defer

beerandcupcakes:  Since I can’t delete this comment, I guess I’ll reply to myself to say that J. Crew e-mailed me to tell me that my shoes sold out before my order could be filled, so no wedges for me!  Back to the shoe hunt.

I’m looking for cute wedges too! They are surprisingly hard to find!

I will definitely choose wedges too, even my ftiend who wed in April recommended wedges as wedding shoes: waaay easier to be on your feet for the whole day. I’m leaning towards these, since they’re wedding-ish but still more on the fashion side (I can’t stand regular wedding shoes):
