Yea!! Its actually a local store in MN thats really making a huge push to be more of a nationally known vendor in the Bridal gowns & bridesmaids dresses. A TON of MN brides go there for all there wedding needs!! Very nice and fun store. Id reccomend it!

They are. I researched them a bit myself. They have a real store somewhere in the US, I forget.

@IUrebekah3RT:  Hi OP, wondering if you ordered your dresses from http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com and whether you had good service from them?  We are hoping to purchase bm dresses from them, but I’m scared of ordering them online from an unknown company.  If you could share your experience, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

@Happy2bMrs:  I can say they are the real deal, I live in MN where the anchor (and only as far as I know) store front is located. They have been in buisness as long as I can remeber and because they sell so much that is the reason they are able to give such great $$$ on there dresses. I have been to there store multiple times for multiple weddings and always a good expiriance. Hope this helps!

@IUrebekah3RT:  Did you end up ordering from them, and if so, how did it go?  Did you have all of your girls order separately or did you put it all in one order?  (wondering if there was any color difference if they ordered separately)

The Bill Levkoffs I’m looking at are only $133 for my girls…I would really much rather they pay that than the $190 or so that the local shop wants.

@DomesticDiva:  I got my bridesmaids dressers from them. They are a perfect match, and I ordered them together to save on shipping. A word of warning for Canadian brides though… I got owned by duty and customs, so much so that it would have made sense to buy them here for $250 vs the $180 online. It worked out to be the same with all the extra crap fees I got charged.

@Pinkmoon:  Good to know!  But bummer on the customs fees for you.  🙁  What brand of dresses did you order, and how long did they take to get to you after you ordered?

@DomesticDiva:  They were Dessy. They took just over 2 months, and I was expecting to take 3. They email you shortly after you order with an estimated ship date but then they came earlier than that.

@IUrebekah3RT:  The Wedding Shoppe is definelty “the real deal”- they are local here in St. Paul.  The are an upscale wedding shop (that I chose to not shop at in real life, just because the people that shop there/work there can be snotty (doesn’t mean they all are though!)-

It’s on Grand Ave in St. Paul- upscale neighborhood.  You can feel confident buying from them- promise 🙂

I bought my dress from their store in St. Paul during a sample sale and had a totally awesome experience. That same day I ordered my veil to be made from them and had a LESS than stellar experience. The veil was supposed to take 2 months to make (which was perfect timing, because 2.5-ish months later I was moving out of the Twin Cities area). Well, that didn’t happen. I called them over 2 months later and asked what the deal was, and they said it would take 3 months. Obnoxious, but still in time for my wedding. So I waited until the 3 month time hit. No call, no nothing. So I called them 3.5 months later and they said, “oh, yeah, we just got that in our delivery today.” I had to harass them into shipping it to me for free.

TL;DR: Excellent dress buying experience in store. Poor experience when I wasn’t walking away with the item that day.
