<br />Has anyone ever used Wedding Shoppe to order bridesmaid dresses? A few of my bridesmaids and I went to look at dresses at some local botiquest this weekend and it seems like the site has the same major designers and styles that they liked, but I think the idea of buying online is a little scary especially with something like a bridesmaid dress where you a spending a good amount and might not have time to return if it doesn’t work.

If you are talking about Wedding Shoppe Inc., then yes I did!!!!!! I found it so much easier with planning for bridesmaids dresses. All my bridesmaids live in different parts of the state and it was hard trying to coordinate times when we were in the same city. All bridesmaids were able to peruse all the dresses, designers, colours and styles at their own leisure. They have such a wider variety than most and they are geniune dresses. I live in Australia and they were able to ship them to me with plenty of time to spare!

As long as your BMs are able to try on the dresses somewhere (like a local bridal salon), you could easily order them online from that shop. Then, being able to find a place to do alterations when they do come in.
I did this with my Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man. They both went and tried different styles on and picked from what they found, then we just ordered both dresses at the same store at teh same time.
The Wedding Shoppe Inc. definitely does have a lot more styles online than in the store. It was one of my stops last year while I was looking for dresses. I didn’t find my dress there, but they did offer to order the one I did pick in, as they didn’t carry it in store but did online to order. They’re 3.5 hours away from where I live.

We used Wedding Shoppe Inc. for Maid/Matron of Honor dress. We found the dress in a local bridal salon, then found it online and ordered it for less $$ from this place. It was received 2-3weeks before the promised time.

I ordered one from them for a wedding I was in. I actually had two back to back weddings, both brides wanting us in Alfred Sung dresses. Both insisted we order from the bridal salon for like $50 MORE than we could have done it online because the consultant convinced them they wouldn’t be getting a legit dress. Not true. Wedding Dress Shoppe actually has a policy that you can buy and return if you don’t like it.
When one of the brides couldn’t decide on a dress, I ordered the 3 she was considering, and returned the 2 that she didn’t like. I ended up keeping “The” dress instead of returning it and paying MORE to get the same dress from the bridal salon because I refused to spend more money on it when it wasn’t necessary. The bride started to argue with me, claiming that they “wouldn’t be from the same dye lot” (you know, the age old story from bridal stores) when I kindly reminded her that she picked that particular dress because one of the girls already had it from a prior wedding she was in.
I had NO problems ordering, and in fact, when I missed the return deadline on accident for the other 2 dresses they let me extend it and go ahead and return for a refund.
