Silly question, but I was just curious. Okay, our wedding colors are Blue, Ivory/cream, and Brown. Fiance didn’t really want pink in the wedding because he "don’t wanna wear pink". LOL! I was never going to make him wear pink! LOL! SO, I was looking at shower decor ideas, and I told him that since I couldn’t have pink in the wedding, I want the shower to be Ivory/Cream, brown and pink. He’s cool with that, lol.
So I was wondering, do you shower colors and wedding colors HAVE to be the same? LOL!

hey there, as the bride and groom we don’t throw our own showers. That is the job of your family members or of your bridal party. Whoever offers to host one for you. Also, they would decide on decorations, invitations, food etc. This is our chance to take a back seat to all the wedding planning and just show-up and be showered for the party.
Hope that helps.
As for the pink, don’t forget you do have a Bacholerette party. Most of them I’ve been to had lots of pink.

I never really heard of having "shower colors".. so I guess it doesn’t matter either way? And like vintage said, you may want to check with the hostess of the shower with what they have planned.

I don’t think they have to match – for my sister’s shower, I used pink/white/brown (with strawberry/butter pecan/coffee ice cream to match, yum!) and her wedding colors were cream and green. I think it’s fine!

I’m not throwing the party for me. My mom, Maid/Matron of Honor, and his aunt (my "FMIL") want to throw the party for us, and asked about colors and such. The only thing I told them was pink. lol.
I’m not having a Bachorlette Party. My girls and I aren’t into the whole going out and getting wild on your last night as a single woman. (Not saying that they are all like that, but when I think Bachorlette party, I think "go wild") We’re just going to ALL go out to eat and catch a movie, maybe window shop. And Fiance said that him and a couple of his buddies might go out and ride ATVs.
