(Closed) Wedding site/reception distance, too far?

    They should drive themselves, you don’t need to worry about transportation.

    Honestly, I don’t think 5 miles is very much so I think you are okay. I wouldn’t expect you to cover transportation for this short of distance. We’ve been to Destination Wedding where it’s even further than that and we were fine. $7 for a cab is reasonable.

    I was expecting 30+ miles. 5 miles would be okay with me and most people I know!

    Relax, I think you are fine…

    2.5 Miles OR 5 Miles, is a really really short distance… and only take a few minutes to drive back & forth.  It is great that cab service is readily available (not always the case in parts of New England) and under $ 10 one way is truly reasonable.  Your Guests will be fine.
