Can’t help falling in love with you, the haley Reinhart version! It’s one of my favorites

We used “Somebody To Love” by Queen for the bridal party and I walked town to “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John.

I have the opposite problem.  I have too many songs I like and I’m also not sure that my FH will love any of them!

Our bridal party is walking down to “Can’t help falling in love” (Similar to @kenzipaige11 we are using the Haley Reinhart version, because to me it sounds softer).

I also cannot figure out what I’m going to walk down to. I am leaning towards “Crazy for you” By Adele, even though it’s pretty non-traditional it has a special meaning for me and Fiance.

One thing you can try is to put your first song into Spotify or some other music program and see what music suggestions come up. I found a bunch this way, though I only used 1 for one of our 5 songs.

My partner actually cared a lot about the music, unlike every other groom that I knew, so we spent a day just playing music to each other until we could agree on the 5 that would be used.

I don’t suppose you like Modest Mouse, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Unwritted Law, Sublime, and Against Me. Haha.

We did “May I have this dance?” By Francis and the lights ft. Chance the rapper. The guests thought it was really interesting. I entered with my father to Joshua Radin’s “Today” it’s alternative and had lines like “this is the day I’ll make you mine” and “you are the one I’ve been waiting for”  without being sappy. I saw him in concert like 10 years ago but the song has always stuck with me.

I walked down the aisle to “I Choose You” by Ryann Darling… It is a slow and beautiful song, I absolutely fell for it and still tear up at the words remembering our wedding day!

sinenomine :  I almost chose that! I ended up choosing Hysteric though. I liked the whole “falling in love again” theme better than the “you are my everything” theme.

lurkingvee (for some reason the reply thing isn’t working for me),

i can understand that. i’m not a huge fan of “you’re my everything,” but the song was meaningful to us because i have sleep apnea. when we were first dating, my cpap battery failed at 3 am while we were camping. i decided to sleep anyway because i’d feel better with sleep even if i had a headache from having apneas. he stayed awake as long as he could, listening for my breathing and gently touching me every time i stopped to make me start again. it wasn’t really necessary but to me it was the most beautiful thing. so “you’re the breath that i breathe” spoke to us.
